The ABAT (QABA) and IBT (IBAO) certifications are technician-level credentials that prepare holders to implement interventions under supervision. On their own, they do not qualify holders to practice independently as behavior analysts. The requirements of the certifying bodies do not replace the legal training and professional practice requirements of each country.
